Another series from the Perth Mint with annually changing animal motifs, the Koala series features gold collector coins. Each one is produced using an elaborate embossing technique. These limited edition coins have a comparatively high mark-up value compared to other gold coins. Th Koala gold coin was first minted in 2008 and is still in production.

Reverse Motif: Each year, a new coin is released that features either single or multiple koalas. The coin lists the weight, fineness indication 9999 GOLD and an embossing character.
