The China Panda Gold has been minted since 1982 as a coin for both investors and collectors. Each coin features the Giant Panda, which is the most famous endangered species in the world. Many of these coins are worth more than their face values due to high demand. The Panda gold coin that was minted in 1998 is a highly valued minting with collectors' values exceeding the market value of an ounce of gold.
