Libertad Gold Coins for Sale
The Gold Libertad is another Mexican gold bullion coin. It was issued for the first time in 1981 by the Casa de Moneda de Mexico. The theme of the coin is a celebration of Mexican independence and an ongoing desire for continued freedom. Earlier versions of the coin featured smooth edged that bore the inscription Independencia y Libertad. Their fineness was of lower quality than those currently in production. The current version is a popular coin for both investors and collectors due to the attractive designs and their historical imagery.
