Vreneli Gold Coins for Sale
These coins are also known as Helvetia, and were authorized for minting in 1896. They are also called, Tete d’Helvetia by the French and Helvetiakopf in Germany. The coins were minted in 10, 20, and 100 Swiss francs. In 1911 the 10Fr was minted, and the 100Fr was struck in 1925. The 20Fr minted in 1926. Only 5,000 of the 100Fr were minted. All coins struck after 1936 are restrikes and are not legal tender. All these coins were designed by Fritz Landry of Neuchatel Switzerland. They are informally called Swiss Miss based on the design.

Front Motif: All coins have the word Helvetia across the top, and the figure of Vreneli (Swiss Miss) against the alps with a tiara. Under the portrait is the letter “F” or “B”, and the rim has stars.
Reverse Motif: The Swiss cross, a wreath of oak, and the denomination.
